Website for a Photographer

I met Mariam in February 2021. She and her family were one of the hundreds of families staying at an extended stay hotel while they awaited housing. They left everything behind when the Taliban took over and became refugees overnight.

As a volunteer for the relief efforts, I happened to be assigned to Mariam and her family for grocery delivery. From our very first meeting, we knew we were meant to meet one another.

Mariam shared her story and her work as a photojournalist. To support Mariam’s work as a photographer, I created a website that showcased her work and talents, as well as a space for her to share her writing and other thoughts. This was a pro bono project and included:
